The silliest ideas come to me sometimes. What if I made a set of dolls with gardens on their heads? Well, here’s a start.. a pretty set of dolls with spring flowers on their hats!
I have had so much fun making these dolls. I have enjoyed making felt flowers many times over the years, and combining them with my dolls is always lovely. I thought it would be fun to add them as growing flowers rather than just the flower heads. I think this may be an idea I visit again.
I have used some beautiful classic Tana Lawn ditsy spring fabrics from Liberty and these sweet gingham colours. I think they do herald the arrival of spring.
